Bowers & Wilkins ASW610XP the most powerful of the 600 Series subwoofers, delivers the finishing touch – or finishing thump – to a hi-fi or home theatre system for larger rooms. Serious bass power is developed in a compact cabinet thanks to the unit’s 500W amplifier, long-throw 250mm driver. Equipped with audiophile-standard Class D circuitry, the unit remains cool and efficient under pressure.

In all of the 600 Series subwoofers, the bass driver diaphragms are constructed from a rugged, finely-tuned mix of paper pulp, Kevlar® fibres and resin, which provides the stiffness needed to withstand the tremendous physical forces exerted by the voice coil and pressures inside the cabinet.

Ultra-solid construction delivers slamming bass, drum kicks, and special movie effects. Deformation is minimised; bass precision, power and enjoyment are maximised.

True Sound

The 600 Series uses tweeter technology taken from Bowers & Wilkins award-winning CM10 speaker. Double Dome tweeters feature a thin aluminium dome for lightness, surrounded by a thicker aluminium ring for rigidity. 600 Series tweeters are also ‘Decoupled’ from the cabinet for acoustic independence. The result is treble performance so pure and precise it will take your breath away.

Bass for all

Both the 683 and HTM61 feature improved bass drivers, with a new Dual Layer construction. The result is a cone with a higher break up frequency, for a richer, distortion-free bass response and better integration with the midrange.

FST

Our signature “Fixed Suspension Transducer” drivers help Kevlar cones perform even better. FST’s innovative ‘surroundless’ suspension minimises distortion and gives the cleanest midrange performance in the business.

Centre channels
